What to Expect as a New Patient

​

We require all new patients to complete a consultation prior to their first wrinkle relaxer appointment. This is one of our favorite parts of the process! Your consultation is a dedicated time for us to get to know you, review your medical history, discuss your aesthetic goals, and map out a personalized treatment plan together. There is no pressure and no rush. We want you to leave feeling heard, informed, and excited.

In many cases, we are able to perform your treatment at the time of your consultation, so you may walk away with results on the very same day.

Meet Your Providers

At Lakeside Cosmetic Center, neurotoxin treatments are offered by two highly skilled providers who bring a deep understanding of facial anatomy, injection technique, and product knowledge to every appointment.

Dr. Chelsea Obourn is a Double Board Certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and the Founder & Medical Director of Lakeside Cosmetic Center. Her surgical background and comprehensive knowledge of facial anatomy allow her to approach every neurotoxin treatment with exceptional precision and artistry.

Eleni Filios is a Physician Assistant who sees patients in clinic at Lakeside Cosmetic Center and also assists Dr. Obourn with cosmetic surgeries in the operating room. Her experience across both clinical and surgical settings gives her a unique and well-rounded perspective that she brings to each patient's care.

Pricing

We believe in transparent pricing so there are never any surprises.

• Botox, Dysport, and Daxxify: $16 per unit

• Letybo: $12 per unit

• Minimum treatment price: $125

One of the most common questions we hear is "when will I see results?"

 

On average, it takes 7 to 14 days to see your full results as the treatment gradually settles in. Everyone is a little different, so try to be patient with the process! Results typically last about 3 to 4 months, at which point many of our patients love to come back in and maintain their look.

​

For all new patients, we schedule a two week follow up appointment after your initial treatment. This gives us the opportunity to check in with you, see how everything is settling, and make any minor adjustments if needed. Just like any new treatment, finding your perfect dosing can take a small amount of fine tuning, and that is completely normal. We are with you every step of the way.

​

Will I Bruise?

​

This is a great question and one we hear often! In most cases, bruising is minimal with wrinkle relaxer treatments. That being said, anytime a needle is puncturing the skin there is always some risk of bruising. Here are a few things you can do to help minimize that risk:

​

• Reduce blood thinners about one week before your treatment

• Avoid alcohol 24 hours before and after your treatment

• Consider taking Arnica before and after your treatment to help reduce bruising

​
